Our Team

CREATORVC is an award-winning producer of community-powered entertainment: long-form factual content that is shaped and inspired by a dedicated community of fans. Our projects include the critically acclaimed In Search of Darkness series, the ‘80s Sci-Fi documentary In Search of Tomorrow, and Aliens Expanded.

The team on this project includes:

David Weiner (Writer & Director) - David Weiner's credits include writer/director of the In Search of Darkness '80s horror trilogy, the Rondo-nominated In Search of Darkness: 90-94, and the ’80s Sci-Fi documentary In Search of Tomorrow and executive producer of Aliens Expanded. Previous to CREATORVC, David was editor-in-chief of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine; a writer for The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision; senior editor at Entertainment Tonight online for 13 years; and a multiple Rondo Award winner.

Robin Block (Executive Producer) - Founder/CEO of CREATORVC, the world’s leading fan-funded factual entertainment company. Robin is also the creator and Exec Producer of the critically acclaimed In Search of Darkness ‘80s horror documentary series, the '80s Sci-Fi retrospective In Search of Tomorrow, and Aliens Expanded.
